On December 19, 2022 Mike Mann announced that he sold HappyBirthday.com to his friend Michael Neal.
Last night Mike announced on social media that Michael Neal has now acquired HappyBirthday.net giving him a Trifecta since he owns the .org version of HappyBirthday as well.
As reported by Mike’s tweet, HappyBirthday.net was acquired for $45,000
According to NameBio, HappyBirthday.net sold for $25,000 in 2007 and HappyBirthday.org for $5,255 in 2008. Looks like the seller of HappyBirthday.net made a $20,000 profit on a six-year hold.
While we all know who Mike Mann is😀, I think some would be surprised to learn that Michael Neal comes from the funeral industry and now owns HappyBirthday.com, .net & .org
I find it fascinating that Michael’s businesses focus on the beginning and end of life and all the Birthday celebrations in-between. I personally have executed this domain strategy successfully by selling BirthdayCandles.com and Funeral.info years ago (to different buyers).
HappyBirthday.com seems to be launching July 2, 2023 (is that Michael’s birthday??)
